I was downloading quite a bit of music to an external portable drive, but I got impatient and paused all downloads and ejected the drive to listen to some of the music that was already complete. I plugged it back into my Mac to finish the rest of the downloads and they did but on a lot of the songs/albums its like they are missing data.
