Simple question....a true beginner

I am not real familiar with the whole torrent thing but used kickass torrents to download from and utorrent.

I successfully downloaded my first song which is showing up in the utorrent as successful and shows as "seeding".

My song went to "My Music" but it does not have a .mp3 tag or anything I am familiar with. It has the utorrent file listed and what appears as the song application in "My Music", two things for the one song I show in my utorrent window (1) torrent which is the song I downloaded.

How do I move the song onto my son's mp3 player from here?

Do I need to keep the application now thats its downloaded or can it be deleted?

How do I get rid of all the songs I download that may appear in the utorrent window?

Please forgive my ignorance I have read a lot on this but making it more complicated I fear.

Not a uTorrent problem so consult the MP3 player instructions.

Then it is NOT an MP3 file

How do I get rid of all the songs I download that may appear in the utorrent window?

Select it and use the button that says "Remove"
