Tar3m
Hey, I was wondering why my downloads have such a difficult time staying in the higher speeds. If I'm downloading 3 or 4 files at once, my d/l speeds will get as high as 8 or 9 Mbps, but suddenly will drop to around 10 kbps for a short time before shooting back up. I've heard people say to limit your overall connections to keep your router from getting flooded. I have a very good router, but when I limited connections from 200 to 130, my d/l speeds dropped to around 2.5 Mbps tops, which is obviously much slower than I see at 200 connections, and there is still some fluctuation. Also, could I avoid this issue by using an ethernet cable? Thank you
Kitsoran
Did you choose settings using the built in speed guide? What are your test results and what settings are you using?
