StarWarsGirl44 Posted August 13, 2014 Report Share Posted August 13, 2014 Every time i click a magnet link on a site i get a pop up on my screen that says i dont have an app to open that link, (sadly i have windows 8) can anyone help me??? mike20021969 Posted August 13, 2014 Report Share Posted August 13, 2014 Check that TORRENT files open with uTorrent.Here's what it looks like for Windows XP: If you have a .torrent file already, you can also set this option by right-clicking on it>Open With...> then choose uTorrent from the list, or browse to utorrent.exe if it isn't listed. Once the file association has been set, Google Chrome should present a notification - tick the box and then choose Launch Application. (Firefox should also work for you aswell... fingers crossed).
