rambomhtri Posted November 2, 2014 Report Share Posted November 2, 2014 Hi, I'm using a Windows 8.1 x64 laptop. My screen is 1080x1920, and I have set Windows item size to 125%. I'm using uTorrent 3.4.2 build 35141, and in "Preferences/ UI settings/ When adding torrents" I have checked "Activate the program Window". If uTorrent is minimized in the tray icon bar or task bar, and I add a torrent through Chrome with a Magnet link, uTorrent comes back from the background, BUT it does it restoring itself, in a windowed mode, every single time. It doesn't matter if I click on maximize, when I add another torrent clicking in a magnet link icon, again resets itself, uTorrent comes back from background and it's not maximized, as I left it. It's really annoying. I, and a few others, have seen this behaviour too.I can temporarily tame it by maximising µTorrent, then File>Exit. Then add magnet link.
