lylesback2
I wanted this in BitComet, but now i use uTorrent, i thought i'd request it here. How about adding a Statistics for each torrent, or one main one to show the highest upload and download speed reached. it would make for "post your highest speed" threads on forums interestingthanks!-lylesback2

lylesback2
i think you misunderstood. this is not for limit purposes, but more of a "who has the fastest download speed" contest.it's something that would show people the fastest download speed you've gotten, and the fastest upload speed you've gotten. kewldude607
I vote yes for this even tho I know my top speed (1.5MB/s). Although I think it should be changed to sustained top speed so that it uses less resources. Only check if the value is greater than the recorded limit once every other second or something. Nefarious
i've seen the speed go 2x higher than my real max speed after a few high HDD & CPU activity times so i don't think it would be saying a real highest speed
WebReaper
Does the Speed Graph retain highs forever? No, but on the 5-minute mode it indicates the highest speed in the last day or 2. If you're that bothered about your top speed and really need to have a bandwidth willy-waving contest, check the graph every 24 hours and see what the peak is. Ultima
lol I agree, the maximum anyone gets is their connection speed anyway. All anyone has to do is use the OpenOffice.org torrent or some popular Linux distribution's torrents, and they get that =P
