docanafs
Help, I am really new at this. I had satellite and it was green. Just got DSL and have tried everything and cannot get it off yellow. I do not have a router, and the new modem is VisionNet. I am running Vista. I have read what others have done, but it has not worked. Please someone help.
Switeck
Does the VisionNet modem contain a mini-router or firewall that needs to be configured or disabled?(Read+search online, because I don't know...I have cable!)
docanafs
I don't know I tried to look it up online, but could not find the same one. I don't think so. I also have a four port wireless modem/router from the same company, but could not find anything on that one either. I do not understand the port forwarding instructions, to even attempt using that one. Where else can I find info?
Firon
Did you use the port tester in the Speed Guide? Yellow is indeterminate.
docanafs
Yes, I have changed and changed ports and they all are saying they are not open. I have turned off windows firewall and I have allowed full permission in McAfee. I am really not having a bad speed problem and it is seeding, but now that I don't have a fap I would like to seed more. I did not have a problem when I was on satellite modem, it was always green. Just a fap problem.
