cant use a feather really as its photoshops logo. id still say the tribal guy is the best design ive seen on here.

hope we arent going to get ads plastered all over the place. not sure what youve made exactely but i was contemplating making a template for the forum if i get the time.

good designs from everyone so far, im still favouring shrills as its got loads of character and as lite said previously

i do rather like the lil space man dude but i would like to see how it comes out as an icon. so far my vote still goes with shrills lil tribal man.

if your such a good graphics designer it wont take u much to knock up a few concepts. i think its the least ppl with good graphical skills who use the program could do. my guessing is that hes just another noobie kid who probably cant even work MS Paint let alone something like photoshop or fireworks, and just sits here trying to insult other ppls work to try and make himself feel better.

i would like to see this as an icon because as i said its extremely easy to make a big beautiful logo, its when u downsize and make icons that it starts becoming more difficult.

sorry but that tray icon looks bland and ugly and not much like a shoe. making a nice big beautiful logo is the easy part, its making the logo into an icon that will look nice thats hard. could be onto something there ryz. just have to see if we can get an icon representing something along those lines.

i have to agree the footprint idea is unusable. its just not possible to make the icons for it, and personally it looks way to bland for my taste.

Got bored and was playing with the Ant concept. came up with a quick idea for an icon, the image shown is only a preview, the proper png and psd are included in the zip ( i included the psd incase anyone wants to play with it and see if they can make the ant stand out more when shrunk to icon sizes,eg 48x48 32x32, 24x24 16x16) click image to download zip.

i personally wouldnt be bothered if i got mentioned at all if i made a winning design. after all its basically just like saying thankyou for creating such a good program. i have lots of great ideas but unfortunately im still only just learning photoshop and my skills arent quite upto the standard of my imagination yet

a suggestion for ppl to play with. seeing as its small and theres been talk of using an animal. how about using an Ant seeing as they are small and capable of doing things that should be far beyond there physical limitations. not entirely sure how it would look in an icon though. ill knock some up later and see how they look.

paw could use being made abit bigger and have some effects added to it for the larger sized icons, dwn at 48,32,24,16 the extra effects can be left off.

good concept. banner needs spicing up alot though. as for the icon its going to be abit hard to see in small sizes. ill make make an icon later to see what it turns out like.

its clean, smart and simple. if you have any better suggestions of things todo with the µ then be my guest. ill look forward to see what BSH, Determination and perhaps FOOOD come up with.

i dont think he would mean icon. the amount of icons that have already been made by all of us ludde should be well and truly spoilt for choice. if he does mean icon then my vote would go with FOOODs mAqua icon.

logo doesnt mean application icon. to me that suggests some kind of large banner type image which doesnt neccesarily mean using the icon as part of it.

u all seem to be posting icons. logo doesnt have to be an icon u know @winMX_67 easiest way for normal users is to use Microsofts TweakUI only other way is todo it manually in the registry, which most ppl shouldnt play with unless they know what theyre doing.
