Mods don't get mad at angry comments - you know the saying "the lesser ppl pay for a program the more demanding they are about it". Since UT is free the level of DEMANDS (not requests) is simply unpleasant... and hardly a Thx for this great tool :-(

When I want to get only a part of a torrent I switch to Transmission... (and I always get more files than I originally wanted btw... TR really sucks).

Found this on the Net... Is it true? "uTorrent for Mac only shares one thing with uTorrent for windows . . . the name. It is a completely new client that has been developed from scratch. So do not be fooled into thinking that it is a simple port of the Windows version or that the excellent reputation of the Windows version somehow negates the fact that it is still in Beta. The main reason that it is still in Beta is because uTorrent lost it's Mac expert almost 6 months ago by now. Now they are still making very minor changes and releasing new alpha versions but it is my understanding that they still have not replaced their Mac expert developer. So do not hold your breath for uTorrent for Mac getting out of Beta anytime soon."

"You should use 0.9.3." yeah 17226 is imho the most satisfying version yet (it never crashes and it allows the highest speeds both up & down)

I'm currently using 17921 and while it seems stable I still get better up speed with 17226... (100-110 kB/s. vs 85-100 kB/s. with 17921) Anyway thx for your continuated efforts to give us a decent user-friendly client! (take that Transmission and Vuze) :-)

17898 does not crash on my Intel Imac (OS 10.5.8) and it seems OK, still I'm back to 17226. Why? Because I have a higher upload speed with 17226 than with any versions that came after it. The gain is about 20% which is huge imo. ANYWAY thank you for giving us an alt. to the super-lame Transmission :-)
