defedate
Hello So when I go to download a torrent, it shows that I have plenty of seeders and peers, but it cannot connect to either of them when I'm using a VPN. I have tested turning it off momentarily, and it started to connect and download. Then, when I turned the VPN back on, the seeds disconnect and download speed when to 0 kb/s. Relatively new at this so I may have VPN configured wrong or something. I'm using vpn.sh (paid service) server on openVPN program called tunnelblick. MadJoe
Ensure your VPN provider allows torrents for the server you're connected to. Some don't allow torrents on certain servers and you have to manually connect to a server that specifically allows torrents.

Sounds like your VPN is blocking torrents activity when it detects it.
