OkiDoki Posted April 15, 2016 Report Share Posted April 15, 2016 New to torrenting. I'm using Total VPN, but can't download a torrent. It is stuck at "connecting to peers". I've set the VPN to public network to be safe. Is that causing problems? Is it necessary? I've also allowed uTorrent to pass the firewall from the uTorrent client. Is there anything I should know about torrenting, to be secure and "go under the radar"? Maybe a dumb question, but is it safe to surf for example Facebook when using a VPN? Thanks!
