roko98
I'm downloading a 2.8GB torrent that contains 7 CD images. For 2 days the torrent is stuck in 99.9% in one piece. The basic questions:DLink router? yes, DI-524, firmware 2.03 (lattest)DMZ Active in your router? No, cheked and rechecked. uTorrent use port forwarding.Gaming mode active in your router? I don't know if this router has such a mode. I check the manual and the config site and don't find any reference to this. I have the battle.net setting active (and it works!). The register tabs shows a loooot of this:[12:31:07] *** XXX: PIECE 344 FAILED HASH CHECK[12:40:34] *** XXX: PIECE 344 FAILED HASH CHECK[12:50:12] *** XXX: PIECE 344 FAILED HASH CHECK[12:54:54] UPnP: ERROR 718 mapping port 27466 -> 192.168.0.197:27466[12:59:08] *** XXX: PIECE 344 FAILED HASH CHECK[12:59:08] Banned 81.9.57.209[13:01:42] *** XXX: PIECE 344 FAILED HASH CHECK[13:01:42] Banned 84.27.81.186[13:01:42] Banned 69.196.166.120[13:05:07] *** XXX: PIECE 344 FAILED HASH CHECK[13:05:07] Banned 203.173.45.87[13:08:16] *** XXX: PIECE 344 FAILED HASH CHECK[13:10:34] *** XXX: PIECE 344 FAILED HASH CHECK[13:10:34] Banned 67.182.205.169[13:12:57] *** XXX: PIECE 344 FAILED HASH CHECK[13:12:57] Banned 62.251.68.113[13:14:53] UPnP: ERROR 718 mapping port 27466 -> 192.168.0.197:27466And I have 4078 hash fails total for the torrent. This is the first time that i have this problem, and I recently upgrade to 1.6. I see the faq, and other posts. I test with openoffice, as they recommend, to find out if could be my network, the download finish in 50min, 30K average, 2M wasted, 0 hashfails. So, I think my network is not the problem, right?I recognize that this is a problem related in the past with dlink configuration... but.. If one torrent works fine.. all should work fine.. right ? could be a bug in the 1.6 version..? as I said, first time that happen to me.
DreadWingKnight
If one torrent works fine.. all should work fine.. right ?WRONG.The DLink DMZ Download Destroyer will not corrupt all torrents, only ones with pieces that have specific byte sequences in them (ones that correspond to specific IP addresses).I have the battle.net setting active (and it works!).This would probably be equivelant to gaming mode. Disable it.
roko98
Thanks for your comment. I did it... the only thing that is enabled different that defaults is the port forwarding to uTorrent. Still the same problem. I searched without success for some configuration guide to adress this isue. Any ideas, can anyone point me to some place ?
