shkbobo
I understand a splash screen would take away from the micro-ness of µTorrent, but perhaps an optional preloader would work well.I usually run 200-500 torrents in each program so opening it up is a pain.I'd say just have the program check if there is over a certain amount of torrents, and then if so have it display a small loading screen.Of course a little splash screen+loader would be nice since we now have a few logos, but that's extra. DaBears57
why on earth do you have 200-500 torrents running? You follow the speed guide and it'll set the active torrent number.
Ultima
Firon has more than 1000 @shkbobo: Um... is µTorrent taking that long to load...? And I do believe a splash screen was already requested anyhow.
Firon
Yeah, it takes 20-30 seconds to load on a cold boot with 1061 torrents.

Firon
Well, my %AppData%\uTorrent folder is over 21MB... And it would probably load faster if the torrents were all in stop mode.
