ErnieD Posted April 25, 2019 Report Share Posted April 25, 2019 I've used uTorrent on my Mac for several years -- it's simple and reliable. But lately, there are torrents that, due to security requirements on some (private, invite-only) sites, simply don't download. Instead, they sit as downward red arrows and don't change. When I launch Transmission and import the torrents, they download right away. uTorrent still works with several sites, but unless there's an update for Mac, it'll soon be a defunct client. Fuga Posted April 26, 2019 Report Share Posted April 26, 2019 Might as well go all in with Transmission. I've spent a sh1tload of time with it and find it serviceable for all my needs. I still hope but will be ready for the next macOS. With over 2000 torrents qBittorrent is sluggish to the point of uselessness. Deluge is absolutely worthless with such umbers. Supposedly the beta v2 is fine with huge numbers but I can't get it working on a Mac, plus being a beta most private trackers won't allow it.
