I recently bought a Panavision blu ray player DMP-BDT167EB and have found that when I download a 720p or 1080p video I get the above message. The audio plays but not the video. If I download the standard video, it works. And it plays store bought blu ray discs perfectly. Are there different video resolutions in 720 or 1080 formats that I can download and if so how? If I copy the 720 or 1080 video onto a USB stick and plug into the TV direct it plays fine but not on the blu ray player USB. The firmware on the player is up to date as well. Thanks for any help. ukmexicano Posted January 9, 2020 Author Report Share Posted January 9, 2020 I have found out what the problem is: there are torrents marked h264 and h265, my panny player can't read torrents marked h265.
