i am new to this but everything is connected ok but my speeds seem slow i have 8 meg broadband and the port is forwarded etc etc but i only achieve speeds of max 200 kb is this normal 4 that speed?my upload limit is 600 kb,,,if i seed more files will that help???thanks,,

Check in the preferences to see if your download is capped to a certain speed. Or maybe it's just the torrent you are on?

Test-download the open office torrent to see if you can max out your download. you should be able to max out your speed with it, I hear: http://borft.student.utwente.nl/openoffice/torrents/OOo_2.0.3_Win32Intel_install.exe.torrent

how many files is it best to download at one time??

some files download at 100kb but others even if there popular files get stuck at 20 and 15 and stuff,,sorry im used to

Your download speed will be at its best when your upload speed LIMIT is set no higher than about 80-90% of your connection's SUSTAINABLE upload speed.
