Potentially Unwanted App

I try to download a torrent today, and first time ever Windows 10 displays a popup "Potentially Unwanted App", and utorrent will not open. I go to Windows Security and allow the utorrent app, and all is fine.  But when i restart windows i have to do this each time.  Is there a fix or workaround?

Have Microsoft just declared war on torrents?

I'm having the same problem, but I didn't understand the poster's solution.  Can someone assist me please?

Click Start / Documents, choose View, click "Hidden Items" checkbox (otherwise 'AppData' won't appear).

Click Start / Settings / Update and Security / Windows Security / Virus & Threat Protection / Manage Settings / Add or Remove exclusions

Click "add an exclusion" select "folder", in the page that appears browse to:

C:/Users/name of pc/AppData/Roaming

highlight utorrent folder, click select folder

That's it.
