Ultima
µTorrent automatically stops them anyway, and starts whatever torrent wasn't stopped manually the next time it starts.
btuser
does it where does it say that? If so thats cool because I made a app which would shutdown utorrent at 6am. So am sticking to a late night downloading policy which ISPs should prefer.

µser
A PC has pretty low power usage, the monitor consumes more (depending, ie CRT) power. So just shut the monitor off.Leaving a computer on 24/7/365 costs about 200$ a year, on the high end, roughly.
