adamscybot
I;ve noticed something about uTorrent. It is mapping my port on TCP fine and all is well. However - unlike Azureus - the UDP is not mapped. Why is this? Also, my download speeds (and upload speeds) are very unstable. One minute its 100kb/s then about 15kb/s. Ive tried fixes in previous topics but none work.Adam
MrTufty
uTorrent doesn't support the UDP trackers yet I believe.
adamscybot
Oh I see.Might sound a bit of a n00b - but isnt it necessary for the UDP port to be opened to allow full upload speeds. I dont think it does - just confirming Adam

chaosblade
UDP is only needed for certain (and few) trackers that use it.uTorrent does not support UDP trackers at the moment. Most trackers dont use it in the first place, and its not really a standard BT way of tracker communication afaik.
