INNERREALM
Hi everyone. This is my first time using the program and I have downloaded freespire (a version of linux). The program says the file download has been completed but I can only find the torrent file (28 KB) not the 655 MB freespire.iso file. In the preferences dialog box I have indicated that I want new downloads to go to the desktop (C:\Documents and Settings\Interpro\Desktop) and completed downloads to go to a folder I named utorrent on the desktop as well (C:\Documents and Settings\Interpro\Desktop\utorrent). What am I doing wrong?
DreadWingKnight
in uTorrent, right-click the torrent task and choose "Open Containing Folder..."
TheBear
Using windows search for *.iso might work too.
INNERREALM
Thanks for the suggestions. I right clicked and chose "open containing folder" but all it showed me was the torrent.iso file not the iso file itself. Doing a seach in windows using *.iso also only showed the torrent.iso file. DreadWingKnight
Check the properties on the file the "Open Containing Folder" getsAlso, check the "Save As" in the general tab.
INNERREALM
The properties dialog box shows a 28 KB TORRENT file with the name freespire_1.0.13.iso. I can't find anyother iso file on my hard drive yet the program shows the file with exactly the same name as 685 MB as 100% done and seeding. DreadWingKnight
Where does the "Save As" in the general tab point to?It sounds like a bad save to me.
INNERREALM
I am using version 1.6 and under preferences/general, I don't see any "save as" command. However under the "downloads" tab in preferences, the command "move completed downloads to" points to "C:\Documents and Settings\Interpro\Desktop\utorrent". However that folder is empty. DreadWingKnight
Where did I say to go into the preferences?
INNERREALM
Good point! My mistake. Sorry about that. The information you requested is that the "save as" points to C:\Documents and Settings\Interpro\Desktop\freespire_1.0.13.iso
