Lord Alderaan Posted November 15, 2006 Report Share Posted November 15, 2006 Undelete software might be able to restore the data if the space it was placed isn't used by other data by now.However pretty much all of these programs aren't free. I have used Stellar Phoenix in the past with great satisfaction, being able to restore all data from a drive that would cause the whole comp to completely freeze if I tried to access it using explorer (aka Just browsing on it) but it costs a couple of bucks. This one, though I can't vouch for it (as I've never used it), is one that I always have on the back of my mind. I'm pretty sure I've seen a bunch of other free one, though.
