erissiva
There are many legal uses. Torrenting is great for people who are trying to distribute files that are 100MB or more (video clips, podcasts, ISOs for anything, CD mixes, DJs trying to promote their long songs, etc). I also use it to download large eBooks and MP3s from independant artists.
juju
LEGAL movies to download (from classic oldies to horror) in many formats (pc / pda / smartphone /pcc)http://www.publicdomaintorrents.com/(similar to archive.org, but direct links to mpg1/mpg2 are replaced by divx torrents)now, that's what I call an interesting AND legal link, isn't it ? (unless you're only interested in blockbusters...)
criscr0ss
i guess buying a dvd can be illegal to if your getting them from an asian store (who at times sell dvds which look authentic but cost 5$) I seriously believe that http downloads should dissapate and torrents should be used, i mean look at nero like 20 mirrors and a cap of 15kb to download the stupid demo/update i mean COMON get with it, they will save much more money on bandwidth and hosting costs if they used friken torrents.
