shady6669 Posted January 7, 2007 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 im trying to download a file that is 19.8 gb and my c:drive has 21.8 gb free but im not downlong it to my c: drive im downing it to an external drive with has 67.8 gb free on it but wile downlong the file i get the message that there is not enough space on disk how is this possable on all drives i have enough space for it to fir PLEASE HELP!?!?!?!? tejan0 Posted January 7, 2007 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 your external harddrive is probaly a FAT32 format, which would give you that error msg.. plus your answer is in the help section of the utorrent guide. Question: 6.7 I get "Error: Not enough free space on disk." when I have more than enough free space! Answer: This only happens on FAT32 drives, due to a limitation with FAT32. Files greater than 4GB cannot be created on FAT32 partitions. The only fix is to convert the drive to NTFS, or use another drive that is already NTFS.To convert a drive to NTFS, click Start -> Run -> cmd, then type convert X: /FS:NTFS, X being the drive's letter you want to convert.
