ShookOne
Okay so I downloaded an 8 GB file. While I was downloading it would not let me continue with the message "Error: There Is Not Enough Free Space On The Disk". Before I downloaded the usual message pops up saying I have 12GB of free space on my drive to download this file so I did.So I checked the faq on uTorrent and it said I need to convert using command prompt. I tried following those instructions but it wouldn't work. Can someone help and be specific? I will answer all questions if needed to fix this problem. DreadWingKnight
If your hard drive is FAT32, you will be unable to download any torrents with single files over 4GB in size. You MUST convert to NTFS to get the support for the files that size or larger. If you are running Windows 9x or ME, you are running an operating system that does not support NTFS. ShookOne
I use Windows XP. Does that help? It let me download a 20 GB file no problem but an 8GB file it won't let me using this message. Since I use XP how do I convert it then?
