Mikado
does anyone know how to disable that message on startup? i cant even imagine why it's been put there :-\
Ultima
Are you constantly changing your network hardware/settings? Unfortunately, there isn't really any way to disable this popup =\
Switeck
If you're seeing the message repeatedly, every time you run the program...then there's probably something on your computer preventing µTorrent for flagging to the registry (or is it somewhere else?) that it's already run. Are you running in power user or administrator mode?
Mikado
No, i get the message not every time but fairly often. Log on as administrator. And i didnt find any clues in registry, if i did i'd simply add proper reg command to startup. Checked settings.dat - no idea.btw if u dont think its very important, dont waste ur time on it (: since my avg uptime is about 5 days, i dont get mad with this warning (: just curious how to tune things best way. Ultima
There isn't a Registry entry that needs to be touched by µTorrent. µTorrent determines whether it should show the dialog based on the system configuration and such. If the network card is disabled and re-enabled, for example, µTorrent will show the dialog because it thinks it's in a "new" computer (I guess). Firon
A solution for this has been found and will probably get implemented soon, though not necessarily for the 1.7 beta.
