poke19931 Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 - Make sure you have a green network status light in the µTorrent status barthis message that i saw from the sticky thread from the forum , wat does that means?1 more thing, i tried the spede testm my upload and download speed is about 50+ KB/sso when i choose my speed,do i choose xx/64k?another thing about my port, my ports connection isnt open, and iwent to the port forwarder and i juz duno wat to do....can any1 help me plz?
µtorrent-Guest Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 in the FAQ you find pictures of the 3 possible network status light in the µTorrent status bar.one of those pictures should be shown in the bottom area of µT.there is a big differense in KB/s and kb/s be carefull not to confuse those two.The xx/yyk value is refering to kilobits per second uploadspeed. if you truely have an uploadspeed of 50 kilobytes ( a more resonable value would be the xx/384k value. (384kilobits / 8 = 48 kilobytes)for portforwarding issues start by reading herehttp://www.portforward.com/help/pfprogression.htm
Switeck Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 If you can upload 50 KiloBYTES/sec but not much over, then your likely Speed Guide (CTRL+G) setting should be xx/512k.
