emulate 1.6 version?

Hi, first of all excuse me if my english is "difficult to understand", I'm from Spain and english is not my native language, I'm doing my best

I'm using utorrent 1.6.1 to connect to a tracker, and I would like to use 1.7, but the tracker doesn't allow 1.7 version, is there any way to "emulate" 1.6 version with the new 1.7 version? or can I do anything to "fake" my version of utorrent?

Maybe "fake my version" sounds bad, but I'm not planning to do anything "ilegal", only I would like to use new version instead of old 1.6.1
