masonjames
I have a couple large torrent files that when I startup utorrent 1.2.1 the file begins "checking." This process never completes on any of the files but normally gets stuck at anywhere from 20 to 24%. If I tell the torrent to stop and then try to remove the torrent, utorrent will stop responding and not recover. Sometimes, I find that the utorrent.exe process is still running and I am unable to terinate it or the process tree by using the Ctrl+Alt+Del keys. Anyone else having this problem? I'm using an intel laptop from hp with Windows XP SP2. If you need more info, let me know. Thanks in advance.-masonjames

masonjames
Well...at least we're not alone? I'm gonna go back to version 1.2 and see if I still have the problem. I also use Zone alarm, but utorrent is allowed access and all port forwarding is correct. Initially the program worked great, but ever since the first crash I have been unable to get any torrents working correctly.
