Guest
Free space check fails if the entire torrent can't fit. Even if I'm only downloading part of the torrent."Error: There is not enough space on the disk."Honestly, with the ability to preallocate, I would prefer to to be able disable the check entirely and let it d/l until the space is full and resolution can happen concurrently or at a later time. Guest
Actually, it looks like uT is trying to preallocate some of the files when that feature is disabled. Even files that are skipped this this case.
PunkAssOtch
Forgot to mention, pre-allocate is OFF when this happens. (1.1.2)
Martin
Upgrade to v1.1.3?
Ultima
As I explained in the other thread...I think it'd be wise to check though, since (as vurlix mentioned before) a piece might belong to multiple files, and if utorrent downloads even just a piece of a file, that entire file is preallocated. If (by chance) the files you choose to download all share pieces with the files you aren't downloading, utorrent will try to allocate all the disk space. But if it finds that there is no space left, what then?Switching to v1.1.3 isn't going to change this behavior, and I don't think the soon-to-be-released v1.1.4 isn't going to change this behavior either.
