cbath
I have never had any problems with Utorrent, until now...I am using 1.7.2 and it was running overnight. In the morning I was surprised to see that it had crashed. Since then it just isn't as stable. I'm think that DHT may have caused it, but I'm not sure whether it was enabled at the time. I've uninstalled/re-installed but this hasn't helped.Whenever I add a IP address to the IP filter and reload the filter Utorrent crashes. As a result I get the red (!), "listen error - you should change the listen port" and in the logger "UDP port bind failed".The only "fix" is to change the port number, which also means that the port number in the router settings need to change as well.Any thoughts or suggestion would be appreciated.... DreadWingKnight
Does sysinternals TCPView show the listen port being held open by a program?
cbath
Is it possible that the logger file and/or the ipfilter.dat exceeded some maximum allowable size or number of entries?TCPview showed some entries still attributable to utorrent, but i closed the connections. So this has avoided the need to change the port. However it still crashes, which leads me to think that there is a file overrun.i am back to 1.6.1 and no problems....for the last 24 hr period...
