intelliplus Posted September 14, 2007 Report Share Posted September 14, 2007 If you have just upgraded to the 1.7 version of utorrent, you may have noticed that its upload speed limit filter or setting does not work at all. For those who have asymmetrical DSL connection like me would see their downloads getting badly affected due to 1.7 series showing complete disregard to your upload limit setting. It behaves in a wild and unruly manner, completely undermining the role of upload limit tab, thereby leading to poor download performance. If you do not want us to manage upload speeds any longer, it is better to remove that facility in 1.7 than having it and yet not having it! intelliplus Posted September 15, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 15, 2007 Yes!By the way, no change in preferences was made when an auto update to 1.7 was allowed.Before that no problems after switching back to 1.6 no problems.
