utorrent 1.7.5 - no incomming connection

Hello All,

i have utorrent 1.7.5 on winXP sp2 - winXP firewall is disconnected.

But i have installed Symantec Norton Security - which i have allowed connection

to utorrent to all ports.

While running utorrent i got a red triangle that says "No incomming connection" -

but when i do "telnet localhost 46020" it changes to green.

i changed the localhost to the ip i got when running ipconfig - and got the same

thing (change to green) - so why do i still got this error message

ps: it changes back to yellow and then to red after 2-3 min when telnet disconnects.

Also i got same issue when running emule - low id due to connection problems - are this errors related.

Does your IP from IPconfig start with one of:

10.

192.168.

anything between 172.16. and 172.31.

my current IP is: 172.29.34.11

why?

Then you are behind a router somewhere.

Those address blocks are router address blocks.
