Switeck
"Disk Overload 100%" usually only occurs with download (or upload) speeds greater than 2 MegaBYTES/sec. (requiring a 17+ megabits/sec download connection!)It may occur at much slower speeds on failing hard drives (run scandisk lately?) or if trying to download/upload to hard drives/removable media connected by a very slow connection such as USB v1.0 or v1.1. Even USB v2.0 can be overloaded if many USB devices are connected at once.
hatethetalkmaster
About the USB, how can I fix that other than unplugging my other Devices?Well it seems okay now, after deleting some files. However I hope, it will stay like that.I guess it is inevitable, that it will come back to the point that it will have a 10 kb/s download and a message which says Disk Overload. Switeck
Try downloading/uploading to your internal drive C:...then moving to the USB drive/s when done. And try to see if you can seed ok off the USB drive.Downloading AND seeding off the same drive at once is probably a bit much for it...but why it'd have problems even as far down as 10 KiloBYTES/sec sounds like serious problems! yourpcguy
ya my old pc does thatthe hd's speed is slow.If you are worried about this affecting hard drive lifespan, you can try Ctrl-P -> Advanced -> Disk Cache -> Increase cache when hard drive thrashing" option.worked for me "jewelisheaven"
whiteninja
I have this same problem. But it only happens when I have like 30 torrents going at the same time. The combined speeds of all them is maybe 200 kB or so. I have downloaded a single torrent at speeds over 1 MB and never had any problems. Yes I am downloading to a usb drive (2.0) and its the only thing I have hooked up atm. The disk itself is fine by the way too.My pc is a amd 3700 and I have 2 GB of ram
