orbiter
uTorrent won't let me download a file if I don't have enough space on a device, or rather if it *thinks* I don't have enough space on a device. I've read the FAQ, I haven't used FAT32 partitions for years now.. it does a very poor job of tracking space on a device. So for the love of god, please let me tell it to IGNORE the disk space and just download the fucking file!!!!
Firon
Um, it thinks there's not enough space because there isn't... It uses standard filesystem functions to find out if there is (same ones explorer and the rest of Windows uses).
Honeyfrog
IMO, unless the client is configured to fully pre-allocate, it shouldn't bother checking file-space at all (or, just pop-up a warning, but permit download to begin anyway). If it then runs out of room -- hey, it's the client's fault for not clearing space. Firon
It does let you download anyway. It just complains. Though if you use pre-allocate it might not...
