krishend Posted November 30, 2007 Report Share Posted November 30, 2007 i have had extremely slow speed for about 6 months now and its very fustrating, i am also using bitcomet where the download speeds are around 1-5 kb however most of the time not working at all. i am now with u torrent and i am connecting to more peers seeders but only a slight inprovement in speed, however it is constant between 1-10kb/s. i have done speed tests my download speed is 2.36 mbps and upload is 0.2 mpbs. any help apprieciated. Switeck Posted December 1, 2007 Report Share Posted December 1, 2007 You should probably use xx/192k or xx/256k in Speed Guide, as it wants your max upload speed in kilobits/sec.Have you changed any of µTorrent's advanced settings?(Some settings changes can crash µTorrent and possibly even your computer as well!)Have you tried Ultima's Troubleshooting Guide?:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992(LOTS of things to try that may completely fix your problems!) krishend Posted December 1, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 1, 2007 i changed the speed settings to xx/100 mb jus to experiment and it seems to have got my downloads going around 30-40kb. this is the fastest speed i have had for a long time. downloading the slackware torrent also and that seems to help my other download. any more help appriecated.
