hendrix
im not sure what your asking, so ill guess to open RAR files you need winrar which can be found here: http://www.rarlabs.com/ (not free) a free client is 7zip which can be found here: http://www.7-zip.org/.To use the lang files i cant help you since i use the default one. Im sure there is a FAQ or guide on that around here in the forums!
Firon
WinRAR can't handle Unicode (even in RAR files).7-zip can. kind of annoying...
chaosblade
Thats interesting.. That might be a good enough reason to switch.

Firon
I keep it around for that (as well as making the occasional 7z), I've gotten a lot of unicode rar files, and WinRAR replaces all the characters with _____. Quite nice. It also doesn't like opening/making any files inside folders with Unicode names.
Inf
Hmm, Winrar 3.30 seems to handle unicode filenames just fine for me, see the attached test file i just made with it.http://inf{dot}homeip{dot}net{slash}tmp{slash}unicode_test.rarBTW, moderators, what the hell is wrong with attaching .rar file links here ?!? Security violation, your IP has been logged, yea, right. 10x for trusting me, really.

chaosblade
It's something with the webhost. somthing to do slashes and the word etc.
Inf
It's something with the webhost. somthing to do slashes and the word etc.I inserted the {dot} and {slash} instead of '.' and '/' manually. Providing the link directly lead to "Security violation, your IP has been logged" error and the post not being posted. I even wanted to put it in url.../url tags first. Firon
the word / tmp and / etc (minus the space) make it give the error thing
Inf
Ah, ok, next time i`ll put it in some other directory. inf.homeip.net is just my home pc with apache running on it to provide an http access.
