neo82
Hello there, i'm currently using a VPN and utorrent to down stuff but the problem is when i port checker it report my port closed BUT i do port forward it and if i didn't connect to the VPN or i connect to other VPN it seems like works fine and didn't report my port closed. Does this means the VPN provider didn't open up the port for me or utorrent problem? I'm really confuse, please help.Thank you.
jewelisheaven
you are running uT on an alternate IP from the "default" network adapter, you should put the correct IP under net.bind_ip (for more information about advanced settings feel free to check out the µManual maintained by Ultima). neo82
Hi there, thanks for the fast reply. For your info if i connect to other VPN with the same setting it works fine, that really confuse me. Oh yeah, there have something stranger that's everytime i connect to the VPN and the server IP will show like 10.163.X.X and the client IP will be 10.163.XXX.XX but when i check the IP over some sites it didn't show like that and show like 74.86.X.X. No matter how many times i reconnect it also the same IP, that's really weird.
jewelisheaven
er, I have forgotten the Reserved IP juju for Class A, but as I recall it is 10 (verified with http://kb.iu.edu/data/aijr.html ) so it looks like if you ARE using said redirect with HTTP, then that's the outpoint for your VPN. So to answer your initial question, I don't know sorry.
