jewelisheaven Posted January 24, 2008 Report Share Posted January 24, 2008 It is possible your modem has router functionality. What is its make/model? Have you tried the Setup Guide(Guides link #3)? Have you followed the steps of the How-To? Modem-only doesn't mean you can't / don't need port forwarding. However if you DON"T have a hardware firewall it is a RECOMMENDED choice to use a software firewall. Windows Firewall is a great choice in this case because it defaults to block-all, AND uT integrates with it due to windows api calls. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
