jewelisheaven Posted January 25, 2008 Report Share Posted January 25, 2008 Before you do that, check the Pieces tab. If you have alot of incomplete pieces, you may want to either set uT to run in Seed Only Scheduler mode for a while or set Do Not Download. IIRC both of those settings allow you to download partial pieces ONLY to allow you to move a clean file to a new location.As-is,you will lose any of the partial pieces upon move and load (% goes down)... which may be substantial on a large torrent. jewelisheaven Posted February 3, 2008 Report Share Posted February 3, 2008 Transferring the data is only half the step for moving the torrent + data to a new computer. If you know where the torrent came from re-download it on the new computer and open it with UT or save it and load it from Ctrl-O.If you don't know where it came from you will have to check %APPDATA%\uTorrent for the torrent corresponding to the file you copied.
