Hello,i deeply apologize if this topic has been brought up before.I have browsed through general topics, and failed to find this particular topic present. However this is urgent and very important to me,and i need to know if this is possible, and if so,how?i have multiple torrents in utorrent, currently on my windows vista partition, and i have also made a windows xp partition.now, what i would like to do is transfer my incomplete torrents from the vista partiton, and posibly resume them on my xp partition.and if at all possible,i would actually like to transfer it to xp,and then rid myself of vista once and for all,by formating the vista partition, and adding the unallocated space to my "xp",therefore moving the incomplete data itself,as well as the torrents, and thus enabling utorrent to complete the torrents without having to restart.any help or suggestions at all, from people who are positive that their infomation is correct,is highly appreciated.and i do STRESS on the part where i say, that "know what they are suggesting",as the data i am currently downloading is very important, and large (approx.90GB),and therfore i cannot afford any "mess ups" on my part.thanks for your time, and thank you in advance.

;) Welcome. Have you checked out the Guides page? More specifically the Migration Guide (link #4). One thing you will/should be aware of: it is possible to run uT from any OS, but pathing to the torrent files and/or data may change. http://utorrent.com/faq.php#How_can_I_share_my_torrents_between_user_profiles.3F covers HOW one sets up a self contained uT. http://utorrent.com/faq.php#What_is_AppData.3F covers you in regards to Vista... or maybe http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=301990#p301990 <-- contributed by another helpful user.

In uT when you have a torrent's data loaded somewhere and you want to move it elsewhere (you should try this before you migrate back to XP) is STOP the torrent, right click, advanced, change download location. After that just click on the FILE or FOLDER you're browsing to and you're good to go. Pressing START again will re-verify (checking 0.0->100%) the torrent's data and you're good to go. Any other questiosn?
