SoftVision
Ever since I upgraded to 1.7.7, two problems are bugging me that never occured before:1. Every 24 hours after my line disconnects and reconnects, utorrent can't connect to any peers anymore. I once left it for a couple of hours to see if it just needs more time, but nothing has changed. It just stayed like that with no connections.Even stopping and restrating the torrent doesn't help. I have to stop it, exit utorrent, re-enter it and start the torrent again to start connecting again. Is this a bug in the newest version?
jewelisheaven
How do you know it doesn't connect? What is the tracker status? Is there an error in the status column? Did you overwrite the values for specifying a different IP?
SoftVision
Well, it simply doesn't connect. It doesn't upload or download, it just stays inactive even though it downed and upped fine just a minute ago. But, yeah, now that I think about it, it might actually have to do with the tracker, I noticed it always happens when the icon is red and the tracker is timing out. Maybe this doesn't happen when there's no error with the tracker. But with 1.7.6 and earlier versions, even when the tracker was timing out, this was never happening for some reason.Ok, will do further checks and get back to you, thanx. jewelisheaven
If the tracker says Offline (timeout) verify your Ctrl-P -> Advanced -> net.max_halfopen and bt.connect_speed are DEFAULTS (* in the value denotes NON-default)...
SoftVision
The number next to net.max_halfopen is 8 and the one next to bt.connect_speed is 20, I've never changed any values in Advanced. Is this okay?
jewelisheaven
:? I don't know if you're looking at the same spot I am. In the main torrent pane there is a "status" column.. That says "inactive"? Yeah your advanced settings are default that's great!!
