flying56218 Posted March 6, 2008 Report Share Posted March 6, 2008 hey guys everytime i have utorrent running i experience very slow internet explorer speeds. i have a internet connection speed of 3.3 megabytes using a verizon westell modem model 6100. sometimes even though when my torrent speed downloads all together doesnt even reach over 80 or 25 kbs, my internet explorer speed is still so slow. my speed goes faster when i turn off or pause utorrent. when i download files off websites that using over 300 kb of my speed i can still surf the web pages in a instant. my port forwarding is green on utorrent and everything else is ok . please someone help me thank you very much. jewelisheaven Posted March 6, 2008 Report Share Posted March 6, 2008 Hmm?? Sounds like you've overloaded the connection. Download doesn't really matter with bittorrent. It's about the UPLOAD. With the Speed Guide (Ctrl-G) have you set the drop-down lower than your UPLOAD speedtest?You may also try the How-To(below)... or simply try turning off DHT.
