hopeless

Hi. I am trying to download a movie. I,ve got as far as making a new folder(v2dtemp)

and thats it,i,m stumped.When you have a movie, how is it titled cd1.avi,there is no such folderIf someone can please help me with that bit,i,ll see what happens then.

I started a download of a movie in utorrent and it,s been going for just on 4 hrs

and it is only at 11.2% surely it cannot take that long. Hoping to hear from some

helpful friends.

What speeds are you seeing in uT. How large is it. On the General tab, what is http://xrl.us/Hashfail ?

Hi Jewelisheaven. The download speed is:178Kb/s, and the upload speed is:54Kb/s.

The file is: 1.17GB. I don,t know what you mean re:hashfail, i put it in the search

bar but nothing came up. If you could explain to me the directions i,ll give it a go.

I am only new at all of this. Thank you very much for your help,it is much appreciated.

Hi Jewelisheaven. I am still downloading the same movie,it,s been running for approx: 25hrs and it is only at 80%. I changed the router settings,is there some way i

can check if it is getting thru the router.

"through the router"? You mean port forwarding.. that's readily answerable from the Network Status icons and if you click "Peers" tab in the lower part of the uT GUI, you check "Flags", and see if there are any with "I". If yes, then you are forwarded good enough.
