joshyz73
Okay, this is a weird problem I'm having. I have a home network with two computers. When I use any Bittorrent client, including µTorrent, on my computer, the other computer on the network slows down. I don't mean the internet connection slows down, I mean the whole computer gets slower. I've witnessed this when the other computer isn't even trying to access the internet, and it only happens when I'm using a Bittorrent client on my computer. Is this a problem anyone else has had, and if so, how were you able to remedy it?
dlf
I think this is normal. I get it to. When I'm downloading my parents sometimes complain /know i'm downloading becuase the computers are slow(er) than normal, but this computer (where i'm downloading the files to) doesn't seem to get slow(er) at all. windtor
I am having the same problem. Please, is there anything I can do? My roommates won't let me use utorrent anymore. I didn't have this problem with bittorent, emule, or edonkey, but utorrent is a far superior program.
Inf
Sounds strange, but since it obviously network related, but not network load related, i would suspect a router doing something crazy with UDP packets. Try disabling DHT.
Firon
Check the systems for trojans, viruses, and worms.
