Switeck Posted December 29, 2005 Report Share Posted December 29, 2005 i do not have a network card i hook my connection up from my usb cable to the back of my modem and as i said before utorrent use to work fineUSB is a very poor way to connect to broadband.So make sure you have USB v2.1 with the latest firmware patches for your motherboard.You may even need to force it into USB v1.0 or v1.1 backwards-compatibility mode.Barring that, connect to your modem using ethernet if at all possible.If you can't do that, your modem really is (s)crap. Venom Posted December 30, 2005 Author Report Share Posted December 30, 2005 Switeck you were right about the usb for some reason my isp told me usb was the best way to connect my modem to my pc i now have it running through the ethernet cable instead and everything has went good so far i think utorrent must of just been triggering something to do with my usb or something i also updated my ubs firmware shouldnt need to use it now anyway if i have any more problems i will let ppl know but for now my problem is fixed and i just want to thank everyone that tried helping out!
