nickxau
I'm using a simple IpFilter list to block certain peers e.g. "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx , 000 , bitlrd" (BitLord users mainly) but I've noticed recently in my uTorrent logs that my own router is also being blocked??? My torrents are still up/downloading though, I just find it weird. Anybody know why/what's happening? and no, my router IP address is NOT in the list. I'm using uTorrent v1.7.7.8179 btw. Switeck
I think it's a quirk of how uTorrent is programmed...it blocks peers and seeds with the same client ID as you...which your router appears to be when a loopback connection is attempted. nickxau
I see... could it be a setting in uTorrent which I changed maybe? Because from memory I don't think it happened in the past.
Firon
It's always happened, you just didn't notice.
