thecat18
I have a cable modem & usually can reach 120 kbps upload & 500 kbps download. But on average now it's very low any ideas on what settings to use. I had to switch clients because most places are having problems with the others. Do I have to do something in my router I use port 49152.
Firon
If your upload is 120 KiB/s and download 500 KiB/s, try raising your upload slots? Try 7 or 8 slots, maybe 10.If your upload is 120 kilobits/s and download 500 kilobits/sec, defaults may work best. Also, is µTorrent displaying Network OK? And when seeding, do you connect to peers fine or do the counts stay low?
Switeck
I have a cable modem & usually can reach 120 kbps upload & 500 kbps download.Do you mean 500 KiloBYTES/sec download or 500 kilobits/sec download? 500 KiloBYTES/sec is roughly 8 times faster than 500 kilobits/sec download. thecat18
KiloBYTES/sec the faster one, my network says ok. The upload speed seemed fine last night but usually in the morning it's under 10 kbps. I connect to plenty of peers.
