Downloaded Ver.1.7.7/ Tried downloading a file, status has "blue" arrow but status has been 0.0% for a long time. Checked my Port Forwarding and there is an "error" and my port does not seem to be open. Any suggestions? I really don't know a lot about this. If that fails, you will have to rely on being able to connect to others. As TheShad0w explains, you don't NEED to be forwarded to use bittorrent, but it helps you and others http://bt.degreez.net/firewalled.htmlNext, have you checked http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php to make sure your uT is setup?? You should test with http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ to make sure you're not blocked from contacting trackers... running it for 1-3 minutes will show if you can connect to other people.
