mrx9898
I recently got a router and a wireless USB desktop adapter for my computer, but since using this, Utorrent won't work. I need a way to change the Network Interface to use the router that I bought... Any help would be great, Thanks
jewelisheaven
From the Manual (http://utorrent.com/guides.php first link) Ctrl-P -> Advanced -> net.bind_ip allows you to specify which adapter interface to use. Default is to use all though....I have to admit though between wireless and USB I'd go without... Wired beats wireless as far as throughput, and USB vs a card or ethernet can be more unstable if you've got low-grade/old drivers.Have you already gone through http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm for the router and http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php again to make sure uT is setup right? mrx9898
Yeah, done all that. And yeah, but I have a sh*tload of wires running everywhere, and plus there's no phone socket in the room that my computer's in.
jewelisheaven
So is uT not using the right adapter? start->run->cmd /k ipconfig /allHow many interfaces do you see.. what are their IP Addresses?
mrx9898
Just one, the wireless one that I want it to use. IP address is: 192.168.0.146 (it's a static IP btw).
