blueangelstar Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 In the past I have always downloaded torrents via utorrent and I have been very happy with the software. However, recently, everytime I have tried to download a torrent (via Mininova or Isohunt), it automatically asks permission to be downloaded in Limewire (even when i uninstalled Limewire). I don't like Limewire for video/movie downloads and would like to revert back to the original Utorrent software. Where am I going wrong? I am an amateur so please use plainspeak where possible. blueangelstar Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 thank you for your help, I knew it had to be somewhere.I tried your advice, however, when I click Limewire Options; "As shown, go to the Tools -> Options -> Player -> Links and File Types section and deselect the two lowermost options therein, then OK your way out."My options only shows Player and not Links and File Types and I am thus am unable to deselect as per your instruction.
